How a custom build works

Six steps, from
consult to steam.

01

Consultation

We start with a conversation about your site, your goals, and your build type — backyard, in-home, commercial, or mobile. No pressure, just a chance to understand what you're building toward and whether it's a standard model or something fully custom.

Design & quote

We put together a formal QuickBooks estimate covering your exact model, materials, and any custom options — so you know the full scope and cost before committing to anything.

Deposit & contract

A $2,500 deposit at checkout holds your build slot. Once the design is finalized, we move to a signed contract and 50% of the total build cost is due.

Build

Your sauna is handcrafted in our shop using the materials and construction methods you selected — with careful attention to heat performance, airflow, and long-term durability.

Completion payment

When your build is finished and ready to ship, the next 40% of the total is due — bringing your balance to 90% ahead of delivery.

06

Delivery

The final 10% is due on the day of delivery. Ask about Timber White Glove — we coordinate the shipper, the crane or shed mover, and fly out to manage the install ourselves.
